National Tour to Launch Ben White’s Israeli Apartheid - A Beginner's Guide |

October 12, 2009 - Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights (SPHR) is proud to announce a national speaking tour featuring Ben White, author of the new book Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner's Guide. Mr. White will be visiting university campuses across Canada from October 5th to 16th, 2009.
A young British journalist, Ben White analyzes the Israeli system of apartheid and puts into perspective the discriminatory policies to which Palestinians living in the West Bank, Gaza and within Israel itself are subjected. Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner’s Guide features a foreword by South African international law professor and International Court of Justice judge John Dugard.
Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner's Guide has received excellent reviews from experts on the Israel-Palestine issue such as American journalist Ali Abunimah and Israeli professor Ilan Pappe. Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a veteran of the black South African struggle against apartheid stated: “In a world confused by competing narratives, disinformation and fabrication, this book is an excellent guide for understanding the magnitude of the crimes committed against the Palestinians and the nature of their present suffering and oppression.”
