Prime Minister Stephen Harper does not value Lebanese and Palestinian lives and views Canadian Arabs with contempt.
At a time when tens of thousands of Canadians are besieged in Lebanon and seven of our citizens have been murdered by Israeli state terrorism, Prime Minister Harper justifies that "Israel has the right to defend itself."
Since July 10th the Israeli Military has killed over 300 civilians in Lebanon and over 110 in Gaza. This includes seven members of a Montreal family who were on vacation in Lebanon.
The civilian infrastructure in both Lebanon and Gaza has been devastated by Israeli aerial bombardments. These targets include power and water pumping stations, leaving hundreds of thousands without power, running water or functional hospitals.
Assaults targeting roads, bridges, seaports, airports and a naval blockade along the coast have left millions of civilians in both Lebanon and Gaza no way to flee Israeli attacks.
Prime Minister Harper's response to these acts, "I think Israel's response under the circumstances has been measured." Under international law, the government of Israel is committing war crimes.
Act now. You can help save lives by making your self heard.
