Biography: Dr. Tibi is an Israeli Arab politician and member of the Arab nationalist party, Ta'al (Arab Movement for Renewal). Dr. Tibi is a tireless advocate for peace in the Middle East and for the democratic rights of the Arab minority in Israel.
In the early 90s, he served as a political advisor to the Palestinian Authority and was involved in the US-brokered 1998 Wye River negotiations between the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Israel.
Dr. Tibi has been a representative at the Knesset since 1999. He is a trained physician and graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
