Synopsis:
Amal is a passionate young woman born to a Palestinian family, in Canada, with a past like that of many other Palestinian natives. Curious about her origin and the history of her family, Amal bonds with her grandfather over a memory of a Palestine, which only few have seen, a time during which this very family had to endure life altering moments and struggles. Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Nakbah, “Markeb Men Waraq” will bring together Dabkeh, comedy and drama and guide Amal through the currents of key historical events.
Special Thanks:
Finally, we would like to take the time to graciously thank our sponsors Dawood Auto, Arcon and the DASA Design Group for their generous contributions and moral support. |
